The Guiding Stars is a vibrant youth-led organisation who organise activities to empower and support the achievements of young people aged 13 - 25 years. Our youth led approach means that The Guiding Stars team fully understands the challenges facing young individuals in today's society. We as an organisation are constantly adapting our services, in order to meet the emerging needs of the youth, whether in the form of workshops, courses or events to engage with young people and to provide them with skills that allow them to develop into confident individuals thus becoming positive contributors to the wider society.

We work mainly with young Somalis in Birmingham however our activities and events are open to all. 

We have no doubt in the enormous potential that the youth have, and we aim to unleash those potentials. We envisage that with commitment and hard work, we are able to make a difference in the lives of young people. 

We often liaise with schools and various organisations in order to reach out to the youth, to collaborate, find effective ways to enhance the achievement of the youth and simultaneously advancing their development so that they grow to be strong individuals and hence ultimately build stronger communities.
